ACSA is a high tech R&D company based in the south of France, in Provence, focusing its activities in accurate underwater positioning systems and robotics. ACSA was created in 1995 with the support of French MoD.
Innovation, high-tech, underwater systems are ACSA' 3 strategic axes. Activities focus on fields protected by international patents. Key patents are continuously applied for.
Nowadays, ACSA's GIB portable tracking systems target various applications in the commercial and military fields. Due to a unique accuracy and ease of deployment, GIB systems are now in use in numerous countries: Africa, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, UK, USA, Hawaii…
In 2005, ACSA created a robotic department involved in surface drones design, gateway buoys and underwater gliders. All those very innovative products find applications in military missions, ocean science, as well as offshore oil & gas resources. ACSA proposes underwater robotics architectures oriented towards supervised concepts. In those concepts, positioning, guidance and communication requirements are analyzed and merged together to offer a easy to use and low cost solution.
R&D contracts are one of the opportunities to bring our unique experience and industrial property (patents) to the benefit of large companies. These contracts aim at developing new products and/or global innovative solutions in the field of underwater intervention. |
